Seven Wonders Vintage Boutique

One of my favorite vintage stores in Brooklyn is Seven Wonders in Greenpoint. What makes this boutique so special? First, it’s one of the few vintage stores in New York where you can still score great blouses, dresses , skirts, accessories and shoes at low prices ( all under $100) – a notion that’s almost unheard of in New York today.

Tzipporah by Natasha Goldenberg

Russian Hello! fashion editor Natasha Goldenberg is a fixture on street style blogs. Her eclectic and ’70s inspired way of dressing has won her some well deserved time in front of photographer Tommy Ton‘s lens outside the shows. Goldenberg, who is also the creative director at Kova&T, has been designing her own contemporary line since 2011: Tzipporah by Natasha Goldenberg.

COVET: Canada Goose

Looking stylish and feeling warm when the weather drops down to the single digits always proves to be a hard, if not impossible, feat to master. Sometimes no matter how much you layer under your coat, there is no substitution for a truly warm parka. Not all parkas are the same. Some are truly more equipped at keeping you toasty and fashionable…for a hefty price, of course.

Picnic State of Mind

Escapism is the key word for the day. The freezing cold weather in New York and this stubborn cold that I just can’t seem to shake has got me yearning for sun rays, a day spent lazily lounging by a pool, a warm afternoon nap by the ocean or a summer picnic unencumbered by winter accessories.

Parrot Cay, Turks & Caicos

It’s not hard to tell looking at these images why Parrot Cay resort in Turks & Caicos is exactly where I wish my behind was right now!

No-Fuss Dressing

Getting dressed has been a huge chore for me lately. Maybe it’s the gloomy weather we’ve been experiencing in New York or just pure fashion laziness, but my lack of outfit inspiration has been drawing me towards the simple and easy jumpsuit. This super versatile all-in-one number takes the guess-work out of looking cool and pulled together from day to night.

New York Label To Watch: TOME

TOME‘s Australian designers Ryan Lobo and Ramon Martin have been awarded the 2013 Ecco Domani’s Fashion Foundation Awards prize of $25,000 to help them present their new collection at New York Fashion Week. The New York based TOME, launched in 2011, is following in some pretty impressive footsteps. Prior winners include Derek Lam, Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy and Alexander Wang.
