Looking stylish and feeling warm when the weather drops down to the single digits always proves to be a hard, if not impossible, feat to master. Sometimes no matter how much you layer under your coat, there is no substitution for a truly warm parka. Not all parkas are the same. Getting dressed has been a huge chore for me lately. TOME‘s Australian designers Ryan Lobo and Ramon Martin have been awarded the 2013 Ecco Domani’s Fashion Foundation Awards prize of $25,000 to help them present their new collection at New York Fashion Week. The New York based TOME, launched in 2011, is following in some pretty impressive footsteps. Prior winners include Derek Lam, Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy and Alexander Wang.
