Mary Katrantzou x Current/Elliott

Mary Katrantzou has collaborated with Current/Elliott to design a capsule collection. Inspired by Katrantzou’s ‘World Traveler’ Spring’13 theme, the collection features postal stamps, banknotes and foreign currency patterns digitally printed on dresses, minis, tops and jacket, all cut from denim. Working with denim is a  first for Katrantzou and we got to say the result of this union between the high-end London designer and denim giant Current/Elliott is a hit. It’s everything we love about her innovative aesthetic but translated in laid-back and easy-to-wear silhouettes, like a pencil skirt, jacket, top and jeans, of course. The best part is that you don’t have to shell out thousands to own your very own Katrantzou piece with a reasonable (well… compared to her signature line) price range of $228 to $530. The full collection, 20 pieces, will hit stores in February.
