COVET: Bionda Castana Maya Sandal

These Bionda Castana Maya corset-style sandals are hard not to fall in love with as soon as you lay eyes on them. The striking bordeaux color, the always attractive cage style, the round retro toe and the all-over tiny stud detail come together to birth a show-stopping shoe. The line, helmed by London designers Jennifer Portman and Natalia Barbieri, is known for its seriously feminine and glamorous shoes adorned with hardware details. According to the company’s website, the design duo explains their hand-crafted design philosophy as follows: “We’re not the kind of designers who feel we have to explain our collections in order for them to sell. We design and create shoes that when a woman sees them she says, ‘I have to have them.'”  We second that and yes, we really have to have them!

Here are two coveted looks we styled around these beauties:

Bionda Castana sandal, Markus Lupfer top, 7 For All Mankind ‘Gwenevere’ jeans, Karen Walker sunglasses, J.Crew earrings, Morgan Parish Moors Pouch.

Yigal Azrouel skirt, Opening Ceremony Exclusive sweater, Alexis Bittar necklace, Vince Camuto cuff, Alexander McQueen floral printed silk De Manta clutch, Bionda Castana sandal.
